This event is a joint project of UST HS Batch 88 Alumni Association Inc., and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and in partnership with SMART Philippines for the benefit of PIOLO PASCUAL’S HEBREO 12:1 Foundation Inc., and SAVE MARILAO RIVER (MMO River System) as we focus our advocacies towards the protection of the environment as a heritage and for the continued enjoyment of our youth.
The benefit run is a wellness program expected to be participated in by no less than 3,000 runners both from the alumni and the public, in line with the batch’s advocacy on the issue of climate change and how to protect the environment. The ultimate green solution is lifestyle change. Managing our lifestyle in the usage of earth’s resources will ease down the pressure on our planet, and the power to do this is in our hands. Live the lifestyle, Be Eco-Smart.

how can we fil-up registration form through computer?
I think it is more approriate to invite the people sorrounding the riverside area of Marilao and Obando so that this will have an impact in their lives most especially in their lifestyle in caring the invironment. Furthermore, these will help them in there livelihood if the river will return to its original state.

The run was succesful. The only problem that had happened is that the supposedly 5k run was not really a 5k long run it’s aroung 8-10k ( I am not sure about the longer runs if they feel thesame), and the result of the race was a disaster (ranking would be not accurate if there would be posts). Still, congratiolations to the organizers. I still enjoyed the fun run despite the mishaps. I would still join the next greenmile run in the future.
